There were two huts built with the name Wattle Grove. The first, a simple structure, was built in 1894-5, and the second, more ornate version was built in 1910 in a different location by at least two of the first Wattle Grove Hut builders. The second hut was built of horizontal logs and there was a tree which was used as a lookout by the hut members. More information in our Wattle Grove Hut document.
